Goma dare. So reliable.

A really quick recipe for a devilishly delicious sesame sauce, used as a dipping sauce (usually for shabu-shabu) but could make a great satay-stick-type glaze.

Ingredients

    * ¼ cup soy sauce * 3 Tbsp sesame paste * 2 Tbsp Miso paste * 2 Tbsp Dashi * 4 Tbsp sugar

    Instructions

    1. Mix together the ¼ cup soy sauce with the 3 Tbsp sugar and 2 Tbsp Miso paste. Stir until smooth. 2. Now add the 3 Tbsp sesame paste. Stir vigorously, until clumps disappear. 3. Add the 2 Tbsp Dashi while stirring. 4. Taste and tweak. This recipe gets frighteningly salty if there isn't enough sugar, so add a bit more sugar to taste.

    Enjoy!
